The International Labour Organization (ILO) produces several databases that offer statistics and other information about wages and wage laws.

  • ILOSTAT is a database of labor statistics which includes statistics on earnings and wage growth over time for most countries. (Note: availability of data varies.)
  • NATLEX is a database of national labor, social security, and human rights laws and legislation, searchable by country and by topic of legislation.
  • LABORDOC is the ILO Institutional and Open Access Repository where hundreds of thousands of ILO books, journal articles, reports, working papers, and more are available online. Publications from the ILO and other sources on a variety of topics, including wages and wage laws.
(As of 3 May 2023, all new ILO knowledge products will be freely available for use or reuse without needing to request permission – as long as ILO is cited as the source of material.)
