The Bloomberg and Eikon terminals in the Financial Room (Barcelona Library) can be booked from Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 9 p.m. You can reserve the terminals for a maximum period of 30 minutes, and for a maximum number of seven days’ viewing.
To make the reservation, use your Outlook account.
First, go to New Items, then select Meeting.
In the Room Finder option (*) select the day you need to make the reservation. In the drop-down box select “Show a room list”: BCN – Library Rooms. Then, select the product (e.g. Bloomberg) and the 30-minute slot that interests you. Lastly, send.
(*) If this option is not displayed, go to the main menu and select the Room Finder option.
Example of the reservation process:
Once the reservation request has been sent, Outlook will send a notification confirming the reservation or, in the case of a reservation that fails to comply with one or more of the aforementioned rules, a cancelation notice with the option to modify the reservation.
Sample notices: Reservation accepted.
Reservation rejected for having taken longer than 30 minutes.
Reservation was unsuccessful, because the terminal is already booked by another person.
