Factiva has launched a new, modern interface for academic users, making it easier to search and discover content on any device. The new design is streamlined for simple searching, offering natural language queries, shareable URLs, and a mobile-friendly layout.

While the content remains the same as on the old site, search options are more intuitive, and no knowledge of Boolean operators is required. You can still access the previous interface for any features that may not yet be available on the new one.

One standout feature of the new interface is the “Trending News” feed, a machine-curated display of the most covered stories globally in the last six hours. In the default view, you’ll also see trending news from Spanish sources.

In addition to news, you can search for companies, industries, or regions to find news, signals, regulatory filings, and analyst reports from major sources like JP Morgan and Deutsche Bank.

How to access Factiva?
Access campus-wide and off campus, from the Top Databases menu on the Library homepage, clicking on Factiva, or from the A-Z Databases.
Login with SSO (using your IESE account credentials) and click on “Switch Factiva” to toggle between the previous and new interfaces.
