Q. Factiva: Advanced Search

• Accessing Factiva:

You can access Factiva on campus or off campus via the Library’s website. Choose one of these options:

• From the Top Databases menu on the Library homepage
• From the A–Z Databases list
   
• Login Instructions:

1. Click on Factiva from the selected menu.
2. Sign in using SSO (your IESE account credentials).
3. Once logged in, if you're viewing the default Business Search interface, look for the “Switch Factiva” button near the top-right corner of the screen.
4. Click on “Switch Factiva” to toggle to the classic Factiva interface, which offers Advanced Search options.

• Using Advanced Search:

In the classic interface, you’ll be able to:

• Use multiple search fields and Boolean operators
• Limit by date range, language, source, region, company, and more
• Save and refine complex search strategies for company news, industry trends, and market insights
