The IESE Library distinguishes between Alumni (former students without membership) and Alumni Members (former students with an active Alumni Association membership). Their access rights differ as follows:

Alumni (without membership)

  • Available: Physical access to the Library premises.
  • Not available: Borrowing, reference or research assistance, interlibrary loans, access to databases or any other electronic resources.

As an Alumni (non-member), you may visit and use the Library’s on-site facilities, but you do not have access to other Library services or online resources.

Alumni Members (with active membership)

  • Available: Access to Library services in accordance with current Library policies.
  • Databases and e-resources: Access is limited to those explicitly licensed for Alumni Members.

As an Alumni Member, you can benefit from the Library services listed in the Services for Alumni Members Guide. Access to electronic resources depends on license agreements — some are included, others are not.

Important note:
Most databases subscribed by the Library do not allow access to former students. Publishers offer academic licenses restricted to current students and staff. For those databases licensed for Alumni Members, use is strictly for non-commercial, educational, and professional development purposes. Therefore, only a few Library databases are available to Alumni Members.
