The Self Check Machine only recognizes physical Library cards — virtual cards are not accepted.
If the Self Check Machine does not recognize your Library card or you cannot complete a transaction, please try the following:
- Check your card: Make sure you are using a valid student or staff card. The machine only works with current IESE Library users. If you have more than one card, only the most recently issued card will work.
- Re-scan your card: Sometimes the machine’s reader may not detect the card properly. Try scanning it again.
- If your card doesn’t work or you don’t have one:
- Go to the Library Service Desk during staffed hours for assistance.
- If the desk is closed, you may leave the item in the book drop box or contact the Library by email at library@iese.edu.
If the issue persists, Library staff can check your account status or replace your card if needed.
