If a book is already checked out, you can reserve it (place a hold) through Discovery. This ensures you will receive it as soon as it is returned.
Steps to reserve a book (place a hold):
- Sign in (use your IESE username and password). (See also How-to: Passwords for IESE Library e-resources).
- Search for the item in Discovery
- Open the item record and click “Request” (under “Get It”).
- Select your preferred pickup location (Barcelona or Madrid).
- Click “Send Request”. A confirmation message (“Your request was successfully placed“) will appear.
Once the book is returned, you will be notified by email when it is ready for collection.
