Creating Your Own List of Consulting Firms:
Go to the following databases and search by Industry classifications as SIC code: “8742 management Consulting Services.”
- ORBIS - Global database which has information on the top 1,909,132 companies worldwide (public and private).
- SABI - Accounts and contacts for 2,700,000 public and private Spanish companies.
Go to Capital IQ :
- Once in Capital IQ, Mouse over Screening Tab and click on Companies.
- To screen by geographic location, scroll down to Company Details and click Geographic Locations, enter geographic location or browse and select geographic location(s).
- Select geographic location and click Add Criteria
- To screen by industry, scroll down to Company Details and select Industry Classification. In search box enter "management consulting".
- Select "management consulting services" and click Add Criteria
- To screen by number of employees, move down to Company Statistics and enter Value and click Add Criteria
