Use Thomson One (Note: this resource only works in Internet Explorer) . To find proxy campaigns against a specific company, search by company name or ticker in the top. Then, using the Company Views menu, click on Corporate Governance, then Shareholder Activism.
To find aggregate data on proxy fights as well as to browse through a list of all campaigns back to 2000, use the Market Views menu on the top then again click on Corporate Governance and Shareholder Activism.
For news on specific proxy fights use Factiva.
- Click the ► sign next to Subject in the Factiva Intelligent Indexing list.
- Type "Proxy fight" in the text box next to Find Subject.
- Select the company name and then run the search. We recommend that you change the default date – three months is too short a span.
