Orbis or Sabi has an expert search function to screen for activity criteria: NAICS, SIC, NACE or keyword. Knowing the NAICS codes, for example, will facilitate searching for companies in the industry from our databases. For example:

Go to PitchBook, select “Companies” from the menu on the left. Then, choose “Industry” and enter “hightech” as a keyword in the search field. Click the “Search” button.
In Capital IQ, select Screening > Companies, choose Industry classifications under Company details, and then search using activity criteria.
