US and non-US Stock price data for delisted securities can be found in the following databases:
- Datastream - available at Barcelona and Madrid Libraries through LSEG Workspace (formerly Refinitiv Workspace) - When searching for securities in the "Explorer" window make sure the option is selected to include dead securites.
- CRSP is available through WRDS. It has a variable that tracks reason for delisting.
- Go to Orbis. Under Stock data, select Listed/Delisted companies. Choose Delisted (and optionally filter by exchange, country, or delisting date). You can also combine this with Inactive companies under the Status filter.
