Orbis or Sabi has an expert search function to screen for activity criteria: NAICS, SIC, NACE or keyword. Knowing the NAICS codes, for example, will facilitate searching for companies in the industry from our databases. For example: 541711 - Research and Development in Biotechnology
MarketLine: Click on Databases > Company Prospector > Select in Industry: Pharmaceutical and Healthcare and then Biotechnology. Finally, click on View Results.
Factiva will provide company lists by industry. Click on Companies/Markets on the menu bar. Click on Industry. Select “Biotechnology” from the list, and then click Submit.

Bloomberg (available in the Financial Room of Barcelona IESE Library. Ask staff for password).
Datastream (available in the Financial Room of IESE’s Barcelona Library as well as at the Madrid Library, through LSEG Workspace) includes sector information as an option when searching for equities.
