Discovery, the Library Services Platform Exlibris’ Alma-Primo, offers you a single access point to searching a vast range of our library's resources. It contains a customized collection of locally indexed metadata that enables a unified search of most of our library's collection.
Exlibris’ Alma-Primo is a new generation service platform that allow us to manage print, electronic and digital materials in a single interface as well as integrate it with other campus information services. The system removes unnecessary siloes and streamlines processes while supporting all modern metadata and open standards.
In addition to the library holdings you can search in thousands of journals, and several databases (All EBSCO databases plus Web of Science, OECD, JSTOR, ScienceDirect, etc.).
Unfortunately, Discovery is not quite yet the perfect "one stop-shopping" solution because there are still some databases that are not contained in the index.
However, Discovery provides patrons an interesting search experience that allows end users to take advantage of most of the library's collection and available full text.
Note that company information, financial and statistical databases are not searchable yet.
You can access Discovery from the Quick search box in the IESE Library Homepage or by clicking here.
Signing in to Your Account (My Library Card) is NOT ALWAYS required for getting access to licensed online library content. In general, the links in the records will prompt you to authenticate as needed. However we recommend SIGNING IN.
Why sign in? Sign in (in the top right hand corner) with your IESE credentials in order to:
- View full search results. (Some databases, only show results when you are signed in).
- Unlock access to licensed digital content and expanded search results.
- Manage your personal account and loan activity.
- Save and organize preferred resources (create favorites lists).
- Check real-time availability of physical items and see in which library they are held.
